“Biomimetic Cues to Enhance Functional Phenotypes in Cultured Stem Cells”
Date: Tuesday, March 17, 2020
Time: 04:30 PM - 05:30 AM PT
Room: 206B
Presenter: Dr. Nicholas Geisse, Chief Science Officer, NanoSurface Biomedical
Session Description:
The predictivity of stem cell-based assays is correlated to the cells’ phenotypic maturity. However, cells in vitro lose these key phenotypes. NanoSurface Biomedical’s technologies provide extracellular cues that mimic a cell’s natural niche, which enhances their phenotypic maturity to improve assay results in an instrument- and assay-agnostic manner.
